Graduation Class of 2019
This is a new edition of the graduation ceremony which took place on January 31 in this magnificent place that is the Palais d’Iéna , headquarters of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council.
It was dressed in their best clothes and with a big smile on all their faces that our former Bachelor and Master students came to collect their diplomas. Indeed, the joy and pride of the young winners of the 2019 promotion to meet again were clearly perceptible. It is accompanied by their family, and under the benevolent eye of their former teachers, that they wanted to be present for this ceremony.
The ceremony began with a speech by the school principal, Philippe Cattelat , who greeted the personalities present, starting with Marie-Christine Saragosse (Director of France Médias Monde) and who did us the honor of taking on the role of promotion sponsor for our dear graduates. The Director then continued with the representatives of Bachelor and Master: Meriem Mehadji (Doctor in Political Science), Jean-Marc Journot (General, honorary director of the war school), Philippe Tauzin (specialist in international finance), Régis Passerieux (civil administrator at CHEMI), Edwige Avice (former minister).
It was also an opportunity to highlight the support work of the college teachers and in particular the individualized follow-up of the students which is certainly one of the keys to the success rate. For more than an hour, around 300 people seated in this room applauded the winners, called one by one by the school team. Former students received their diplomas, which were presented to them by their former teachers and by members of the school’s management . Joy and also a certain emotion could be read on the faces.
The ceremony ended with the usual applause in front of this fine promotion and a convivial cocktail… before the start of the gala organized by the BDE!
