On June 18, 2026, at the National Maritime Museum in Paris, HEIP officially signed a partnership agreement with the Civilian Human Resources Department of the Ministry of the Armed Forces.
This collaboration marks a new step in bringing academia and public institutions closer together. It reflects a shared goal: to prepare future professionals for the major strategic challenges of the 21st century and to expand their access to concrete opportunities for professional development.
In an international context marked by geopolitical tensions, security challenges, technological changes, and evolving public policy, this partnership opens up new opportunities for HEIP students.
MORE THAN 1,700 APPRENTICESHIP POSITIONS AVAILABLE EACH YEAR
One of the main objectives of this agreement is to make it easier for HEIP students to take advantage of the many opportunities offered by the Ministry of the Armed Forces.
Each year, more than 1,700 apprenticeship contracts are offered within the ministry in a variety of strategic fields, such as:
- Public Affairs
- International Relations
- Defense and Security
- Crisis Management
- Public Policy
- Information and Communication Systems
- Public Procurement
- Infrastructure
- Health, Safety, and the Environment
These experiences allow students to develop practical skills while gaining firsthand insight into the realities of the workplace within one of France’s largest government agencies.
Beyond work-study programs, this partnership serves as a powerful tool for professional integration by creating concrete bridges between academic training and the needs of public-sector employers.
TRAINING PROFESSIONALS CAPABLE OF THRIVING IN A CHANGING WORLD
For more than 125 years, HEIP has been educating students to understand the major political, economic, and international transformations that shape our world.
Through a pedagogical approach based on analysis, strategic thinking, and real-world professional scenarios, the school prepares its students for high-impact careers in the public, quasi-public, and private sectors.

Issues related to international security, defense, public governance, and crisis management now play a central role in the school’s curricula, from the Bachelor’s to the MSc levels.
