ADMISSIONS FOR CANDIDATES WHO ARE NOT FRENCH RESIDENTS

Candidates who are not French residents are subject to specific entrance exam procedures for admissions.

REGISTRATION CONDITIONS FOR THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

HEIP is a truly international school which enrolls 40% of foreign students every year.
  • Entrance to the 1st year of the bachelor course is open to holders of a baccalaureate or equivalent foreign diploma, or those who are currently studying for these diplomas.
    As lectures are given in French, candidates are required to have a B2 level in French.
  • Entrance to the 2nd year of the bachelor course is open to holders of a baccalaureate having already done one year of higher education or obtained 60 ECTS credits, or those currently studying to achieve this at a University or Higher Education Institution in France or abroad, in the following fields: Humanities, politics, economics, legal or social sciences.
    As lectures are given in French, candidates are required to have a B2 level in French.
  • Entrance to the 3rd year of the bachelor course is open to holders of a baccalaureate having already done two years of higher education or obtained 120 ECTS credits, or those currently studying to achieve this at a University or Higher Education Institution in France or abroad, in the following fields: Humanities, politics, economics, legal or social sciences.
  • Entrance to the 1st year of the master course is open to holders of a baccalaureate having already done three years of higher education or obtained 180 ECTS credits, or those currently studying to achieve this at a University or Higher Education Institution in France or abroad, in the following fields: Humanities, politics, economics, legal or social sciences.
  • Entrance to the 1st year of the master course is open to holders of a baccalaureate having already done three years of higher education or obtained 180 ECTS credits, or those currently studying to achieve this at a University or Higher Education Institution in France or abroad, in the following fields: Humanities, politics, economics, legal or social sciences.

For admission to the dual diploma program with London Metropolitan University:

The candidate application file is submitted to London Metropolitan University for validation. The final agreement is given in November of the year in which the candidate is applying. If the application is refused, the student is automatically enrolled on the year of the master’s cycle for the major he/she has chosen.

PRE-SELECTING CANDIDATE APPLICATION FILES

The preselection commission studies the candidate application files. If the file is accepted, the student is invited for an oral test by Skype.

ADMISSION TEST

This test is an interview by skype on general knowledge and motivation. The candidate should add the HEIP skype account (contact.heip) to his/her session the day before the interview.

Length of the test: 30 minutes

The dates and times of the interviews are arranged with the admissions department depending on the availability of the candidates and the jury members.

The skype interviews are held between January and July 2019.

The examinations commission meets to discuss the candidate files. At the end of the deliberation, each student is personally informed of their results by telephone and/or email.
