The objectives of this Bachelor’s degree in International Relations & Political Science are

The Bachelor’s degree in International Relations is dedicated to students who have or are in the process of obtaining their Baccalaureate. The program is also open to holders of an equivalent foreign degree who wish to work in the field of political science. The Bachelor’s degree in international relations aims to help participants discover the economic, legal and geopolitical components associated with the international relations field.

The Bachelor’s degree in international relations sheds light on the various analytical tools needed to understand each of the major disciplines. At the end of these three years, the student obtains a Bachelor’s degree thanks to a complete theoretical and practical training. He can then deepen his knowledge by continuing with a master’s degree.

An international experience

Thanks to its many opportunities, the Bachelor’s degree in international relations allows its holder to work anywhere in the world. The experience acquired at the end of the three-year bachelor’s program gives access to various positions (political science consultants for NGOs, international studies officers, diplomats or journalists).

Professionalize yourself through internships

The Bachelor’s degree in International Relations offered by HEIP includes professional integration internships. An internship of 4 to 6 months is mandatory in the third year of the Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Students are coached by professionals to learn what to do during job interviews in order to land an internship.

Students can complete up to 14 months of internship in France and/or in foreign countries, depending on their preferences.

Continuing your studies after a bachelor’s degree in international relations and political science

Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science program can work in a variety of fields upon completion of their studies. Nevertheless, it is recommended to continue with two additional years of master’s degree to have the best assets to build an international career. The following are the different opportunities available to students who have completed a degree in international relations and political science:

  • International Relations Analyst

Among the opportunities linked to the Bachelor’s degree in international relations is the profession of analyst. The latter conducts in-depth studies on the economic, financial, social and/or political aspects of an organization. The consultant then shares recommendations and solutions with the entrepreneurs to improve their company’s international relations.

  • Strategic Advisor

The Bachelor’s degree in international relations in France also opens the door to the profession of strategic advisor. The person works as an independent consultant for an international firm, bringing his expertise to the service of managers. The political science advisor assists them in choosing the best strategic decisions to make within the organization.

  • Journalist

The Bachelor’s degree in political science in Paris trains future journalists who specialize in writing articles, reports or press programs with an international scope. They can specialize in the media news of a specific continent of the world (Middle East, China, America…). The objective is to bring a neutral, objective and global vision to the readers.

Our bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations

Our bachelor’s degree in political science and international relations is a course adapted to :

  • holders of the BAC with the specialization HGGSP (History-Geography, Geopolitics and Political Science) ;
  • Post-baccalaureate graduates (BAC+1 or BAC+2) in humanities, law, social sciences or economics;
  • international students who have undertaken a similar journey
